I want to see if i can raise £50 for homeless people by asking 25 people I know via social media to donate just £2. I'm interested to know if this can be achieved within 10 days! This sounds like an easy task, given the many hundreds of pounds that most of us throw at Christmas, but let's see!
If your're one of those people (like me) who see people volunteering to support the homeless over Christamas and thinks "I'd love to help, but I don't have time", then this is a great alternative. It's quick and easy.
Any donation you make will go towards the CRIB appeal, SMART's annual appeal to raise funds to support the homeless and vulnerably housed. Your online donation will contribute towards Christmas meals, gifts, clothing, companionship and support for homeless people throughout the winter.
I've been told that this is one of the most aweful times to be homeless and you can easily see why.
I hope you can spare £2, it's the cost of a high street coffee for you or I, but it buys so much more for a homeless person. Of course you are welcome to donate more, but I think £2 is a sum many of us can afford.
Thanks for stopping by and for your support. Oh, one last thing... Once you're done, please share on your socail media. Let's see how may £2's we can get! Thanks, James.
